Ever have an idea that you know would make a great business, but have no clue how to start? Or if you have started, ever wonder if there’s something you can do to push your business further? If this is you – if you are a rising entrepreneur or would like to be – then you cannot miss Glendale Tech Week: A Startup Journey.
The 5-day event kicks off on Monday, October 9th with a pop-up reception by Beat Junkie, and builds momentum as attendees learn the cutting edges of business and technology from local leaders. The program is packed with talks, panels, site tours, happy hours, and networking events geared to address the needs of a growing business. Idea development, funding, marketing, and more will be covered throughout the week’s events.
The October 11th line up of speakers includes:
- NASA’s Visual Strategist, Dan Goods,
- Circle Reality’s Founder, Chadwick Turner,
- MooreDesign Associate’s President, Patricia Moore,
- and many, many more.
Hear about their journey on Wednesday, October 11th at the Alex Theatre. After, head over to Oktoberfest on Maryland for food, live demonstrations, craft brewer talks, interactive art displays, and pop-ins from top influencers.
Thursday, October 12th’s City-sponsored summit will feature:
- Panels on innovation in healthcare and growth in technology with partners from Biocom,
- A tech job fair,
- An innovation market,
- and Glendale’s Pitchfest.
Ten selected companies will compete in Glendale’s Pitchfest for a $20,000 prize package in front of a panel of judges at the Alex Theatre. This will be followed by a Meet the Funders event for those who want to get their own ideas in front of some of Los Angeles’s top VC and Angel funders.
