Open Arts & Music Festival

September 17, 2016 @ 12:00 pm - 10:00 pm

The first annual Open Arts & Music Festival (OAM) navigates a city in transition. In recent years, the City of Glendale has become increasingly diverse – both economically and culturally. On Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 12 PM to 10 PM at Glendale Central Park, the Open Arts & Music Festival will highlight the range, influence, and growth of changing city by inviting artists, performers, local businesses and vendors to activate Downtown Glendale. Through music performances, arts markets and a public art installation, activities for children, and featured businesses, the Open Arts & Music Festival creates an immersive, engaging, and family-friendly environment for residents of The City of Glendale and outlying areas.

The Open Arts & Music Festival is a public/private partnership between Glendale Arts (lead organization), the City of Glendale, the Glendale Arts & Culture Commission – with funding from the Urban Art Program, the Downtown Glendale Association, and is sponsored, in part, by Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich.

Additional partners include City of Glendale Community Services & Parks, ESM Productions, Studio Chew, The Americana at Brand, CBRE, Street Food Cinema, Glendale Tech Week, Brewyard Beer Co., and a variety of local and regional non-profit arts organizations.
