City of Glendale Opening Round 2 of Small Business Grants in November 2020

Earlier this year, the Glendale City Council directed staff to create a Glendale Small Business Grant Program to help small businesses experiencing financial difficulties relating to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Program consists of two grants, the Low-Income Recovery Grant and the Small Business Recovery Grant. Round 1 for both of these programs closed earlier this summer and applicants are in the processes of receiving funding.

An additional $650,000 in funding has since been allocated by the City Council to provide further assistance to the Glendale community.

The allocations of funds allows the Economic Development Division to launch a second round of applications in November 2020.

Businesses who received a small business grant in Round 1 are not eligible to apply for a Round 2 grant.
