Downtown Glendale Brand Boulevard Food, friends, and music await you at the 2008 Taste of Downtown Glendale, an annual benefit event for Glendale Healthy Kids. Stroll up and down Brand Boulevard in downtown Glendale to sample delicious food from the area’s top restaurants while being entertained by musical performers along the street including the Glendale High School, Hoover High School and Crescenta Valley High School Bands, the Latino Boys, Bill Card's All Star Band, and the Glen Roberts' Jazz Band. Participating restaurants include: Bad Ass Coffee Company Billy's Deli BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse C&C Internet Cafe California Pizza Kitchen Carousel Restaurant Chuy's Baja Mexican Restuarant Cold Stone Creamery Damon's Steak House Dolci Mango El Morfi Favorite Place Harvest Inn Jamba Juice L&L Hawaiian Barbecue La Cubana New Moon Olive Garden Outback Steakhouse Porto's Bakery Roseberry Yogurt Sabor (at Massage Envy) San Sai Restaurant Subway Starbucks Uratu Coffee Zono Sushi Proceeds from this event go to help Glendale Healthy Kids provide access to medical, dental, mental health and health education services for children from low-income, uninsured families in the Glendale area.
