Moving and mesmerizing: chanteuse Storm Large of Pink Martini-fame performs Weill’s Seven Deadly Sins and violinist Daniel Hope brings ‘conviction, musicality and understanding’ (Chicago Classical Review) to an arrangement of popular Weill works. The centerpiece of the concert is Adolphe’s tribute to another émigré who spoke out in the face of injustice, the courageous Rabbi Joachim Prinz.
